Hound of the Week Contest

Each week, Randall will choose one hound to be featured as the hound of the week. Members have until Friday at 6:00 p.m. to email sedgefield_hunt@yahoo.com with their guess of the hound's name.  The staff member and the regular member with the most correct guesses over the course of the contest (November 3 - February 26) will win a prize. Prizes will be awarded at the Wild Game Dinner on February 27, 2009.  Hound names will be revealed at the conclusion of each week.

De La Brooke Flipper x De La Brooke Hurry Started hunting with Sedgefield this season along with one other litter-mate Much more reserved then the sibling (the better half some would say) Very sweet little pup and the "flashiest" hound

 

Popper Week Fourteen - February 2 - February 6
Red Mountain Iver x Addis's Patience Hunting career began in 2005 Sedgefield also hunts this hound's sister and brother Often, right up front when on a run

 

Leadbelly Week Thirteen - January 25 - January 30
Sedgefield Yardbird x Sedgefield Lyric Began hunting in 2006 Sweet and quiet hound Working on learning some sign language

 

Plaza Week Twelve - January 19 - January 23
Addis's Planet x Addis's Penelopy Entered since 2006 season along with two litter mates Has very distinctive features (big, lop sided spots on face)

 

Yardbird Week Eleven - January 12- January 16
De La Brooke Flipper x Red Mountain Yellow Jacket Hunts with his sister He is always trusted to "tell the truth" about good/bad scent An awesome hound (of course, he's Faust's half-brother!) He has sired many SH hounds Shown at the CHS and 2008 Pack Class and Jr. Pack Class

Red Mountain Hooligan x Red Mountain Voodoo Sweet and quiet hound Was in Pack Class and Junior Pack Class at 2008 CHS MFH = Mascot of Field Hunters A very helpful hound

 

Turk Week Nine - December 29 - January 2
Red Mountain Hooligan x Red Mountain Tulip Has been hunting for a few years Was in both our Pack Class and Junior Pack Class at 2008 Carolina Hound Show He is a very laid-back, sweet hound
